Just another day!

The best part about kids is that they are cheap entertainment! I laugh so hard at the things that keep Korver occupied! This one I have to say was ALL his idea! After five minutes of crying and pointing I figured out that this is all he wanted! Good thing yard sale tags are cheap, since we played this little game for an hour!;) I don't think you will be seeing him out for sale any time soon though!:) Give it fifteen years and then we will see!:)

WAAAAY BEHIND...Let's Play Catch Up!

So I know...I am the biggest slacker EVER! I have been so sick that blogging has been the last thing I want to do! Along with answering my phone, or returning emails! I feel really bad...for some reason when I become pregnant the world just some how stops spinning and I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING!:0 Don't be offended...it's not intentional! Oh I guess for those of you who don't know...YES WE ARE EXPECTING BABY #2 on May 25th! We are really excited! Now be prepared...your about to go on a really long picture journey of what we have been up to since the end of August. We took a little trip up north to go to the fair! It was fun seeing some old friends and being able to catch up and play a little.

On September 10th...the biggest day of the year...MY BABY TURNED ONE!:( So sad. On his birthday we took him to lunch at Wendy's...he loves chicken nuggets and french fries...and then we took him to Jumpin Jacks to play with his cousins! He had so much fun...especially considering he started walking the week before! Then on the weekend we had a big birthday bash with a lot of friends and family! Thanks to everyone who came and made it so much fun for Korver! Oh and thanks to uncle Joe for being apparently the scariest clown EVER!:) LOL!

We have been enjoying the nice weather here in St. George and taking advantage of it at the park and visiting the ducks!

Halloween week was CRAZY for us! Korver was a the cutest funky little chicken! So were mom and dad...not the cutest, but maybe the most hideous!:) LOL! We kicked off Halloween with a party for the kids that my friend Amber had!!! Korver had a lot of fun, and it was hilarious to see all the kids dressed up and wondering what the heck was going on!:) Next...I try to take Korver up to the pre school one day a week to let him interact with the kids and play! HE HAS A BLAST when its pre school time. He loves the kids and loves to have little buddies to play with!:) They had a halloween party...and of course we had to go! It was fun to see all the kids dressed up and to see Korver have so much fun with them! The night before Halloween we had our annual couples halloween party and left Korver with my mom for the night. He had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and painting pumpkins...NOT...my mom said he was scared to death of them!:) LOL...of all the things to be scared of on halloween...he picks an orange pumpkin!:) We had a lot of fun at the party like we always do. We played tons of fun games, ate yummy food, and laughed histerically at the costumes...some a little tighter than others! LOL! Then halloween afternoon my mom had a little party for the kids. She had lunch, a piniata, a spider hunt, made homemade pumpkin sugar cookies, and of course...you know my mom...she had a little halloween prize for them! Thanks mom! By the time Halloween NIght rolled around Korver was sick and tired of his costume...so we boycotted trick or treating and went to eat at Outback with my mom and dad. It was a lot of fun to just relax and laugh at everyone elses costumes. Here is the never ending pics of our halloween fun!:) enjoy!

One Year

What the heck...I know I say it all the time, but it's so sad so how fast this past year has went! Our baby boy turns one on thursday, and I can't believe it! This past year has by far been the best year of my life! Having a child has went far beyond my expectations! It is definetly something that I am so grateful I have been able to experience! I get 17 more years of this little stinker, and I cant wait for every single one of them! I love him so much it's sickening! Gus Gus is such a big boy and has such a funny little personality! He is a YELLER! He is such a little copy cat right now with noises and actions! He took his first steps this past week, and I have a feeling the running is just around the corner! He loves to play in the kitchen and pull out every single thing he can find! He climbs on top of everything he can, and is the true definition of a BOY! I love it, except for the fact that he constantly looks like he had been beat because of his battle wounds! He can show you how old he is, does "touchdown," says mama, dada, papa, tells you what the truck and dog says, can throw the ball and, and can wear you out until you think your going to pass out by playing hide and seek!;) He no longer has a bottle and is officially ready to be a BIG BOY! He is a smart little turkey and has figured out how to open the gate to get up the stairs! We have to put the coffee table in front of the gate opening so he cannot get into it, but needless to say he has figured out how to tip it over to get in! Kinda defeats the purpose of a $75 gate eh? Grr! We love the maddness around our house and can't wait to throw another one in the mix! We love being parents and we love you Gus Gus!
